🖨️ PrintFixer

Stop being disappointed when your printed photos don't look like they did on your screen!

You know the feeling: the photo looked perfect on your computer or phone, but the print came back too dark, washed out, or the wrong color. That happens because printers and screens show colors and tones differently — and every ruined print is money down the drain. One cheap test sheet shows you exactly how to adjust your photo before you order the full-size version — get it right the first time instead of paying to reorder. Here's how it works:

1 · Make a test sheet here Upload your photo and we pack a grid of small versions of it into one print file — each version slightly different in brightness, contrast, tones and color.
2 · Print your test sheet at your regular printing service Upload our test sheet to your printing site (for example: Shutterfly, Snapfish, Walgreens, CVS...) and order it as a single print. When it arrives, pick the version that looks the way your photo is supposed to look!
3 · Print your corrected photo Come back here and enter that version's settings from your key. You'll instantly get your photo full-size with those exact corrections built in. Send it to the same printing service — this time your print comes back looking exactly the way you want!
🔒 Your photos never leave your device — nothing is ever uploaded to us. Preview everything free before you pay!
STEP 1

Upload your photo

Your photo never leaves this computer — everything happens in your browser.

JPEG, PNG, or WebP work best
STEP 2

What size print will you order?

Enter the size you'll order from your print service. The test file is created at 300 DPI (print quality).

STEP 3

How small should each version be?

Smaller versions = more variations on the sheet, but each is harder to judge. Each version keeps your photo's shape.

STEP 4

Which adjustments do you want to test?

Pick what you suspect looks wrong in your prints. Not sure which to choose? Hover over any option for a simple explanation of what it does and what it fixes. Based on how many you pick, you'll get layout choices below.

STEP 5

Labels, preview & download

Either way you also get a separate key file to keep at home, so you can match the print back to exact settings.

Important: when you order, turn OFF the print service's “auto color correction” / “auto enhance” option. Otherwise they re-edit your test sheet and the comparison is meaningless. Do the same when you order the final print.
STEP 1

Load your original photo

Use the exact same photo you made the test grid from.

Drag the photo here, or click to choose a file
STEP 2

Enter the settings from the version you picked

Look at your test print, find the version that looks right, and type in its settings from your key. If you made the test grid in this same browser session, you can just enter its number below!

Press and hold the preview to see the unedited original.
STEP 3

Download full-resolution edited photo

Output is your photo's full original resolution with these exact adjustments — the same math used on the test tiles.

Remember: order with “auto color correction” turned OFF, same as the test print.
